What is the STALKER 2 × АТБ AI card generator?

It is a free AI tool that turns your photo into a collectible trading card styled after the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 × АТБ 48-card set. Upload a portrait, type a short name, and a Vertex AI model paints you as a STALKER character in roughly 30 seconds.

How does the generator work?

Your photo is downscaled in your browser to 1280px, then sent to a Google Vertex AI image model along with reference cards from the official set. The AI returns a 3:4 portrait that we composite into the card frame with your name and a short footer, and serve back as a PNG.

Is the AI generator free?

Yes — it is completely free. Generation is funded by the developer and a small daily global cap keeps API costs predictable. There are no ads, no upsells, and no premium tiers.

Who can use the generator?

Anyone in the world with a Google account. Unlike the trade board and meetup features (which require physical Ukrainian АТБ cards), the AI generator is universal — you do not need to live in Ukraine or own any physical cards to make your own.

How many cards can I create per day?

Each Google account gets 1 generation per day. There is also a global daily cap of 1 000 cards across all users to keep the service stable; if today's pool is exhausted you can come back tomorrow at midnight Pacific Time.

What AI models are used?

The primary model is Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (generally available). If it returns a rate-limit error, we automatically fall back to Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview after a 5-second retry. Both run on Google Vertex AI Express.

Can I download the generated card?

Yes — once the card is rendered you can save it as a PNG straight to your device using the Download button. Cards are not stored on our server, so make sure to save your copy.

Can I share the card on social media?

Yes. The Share button uses the native Web Share API to send the PNG directly to Threads, Instagram, X, Telegram, or any installed app. On desktop the link is copied to your clipboard so you can paste it anywhere.

Why does it sometimes fail with 'peak load'?

Vertex AI image models share regional capacity. When too many requests hit at once we get a 429 quota error; we retry once and then refund your daily quota so you can try again later. No charge or count is consumed when this happens.

No. Photos are sent directly to Google Vertex AI for the single generation request and are not stored in our database. The resulting card is also not saved on our server — only the request count is recorded for the daily quota.
